Join two pushchairs together so they can be pushed by one person. The connectors comprise of three bars fixed securely with metal clamps onto the frame of each pushchair. The Connector Bars can be detached from the clamps with hand tightened nuts leaving the clamps on the frame. If detached from one side then the Connector bars can be folded against the side of the other pushchair for convenience. The pushchairs can be folded (individually) without removing the clamps when they are fitted at the positions indicated. IMPORTANT. When joined together 2 x Excel Elise measure 1.23m (4ft) which is too wide for many situations and some pavements (especially where there is a lamp post) and crossing a road may only be practical where the kerb is lowered. Two children of 25kg each, a fairly standard 6 year old, is equal to the maximum 50kg weight for a single pushchair. If the combined weight of the two children exceeds 50kg then we recommend this is only used on flat level surfaces to ensure the carer is able to maintain safe control. Stability will be affected by the behaviour of the children, if one child has challenging behaviour they may now represent a danger to the other child. When parked all four brakes must be applied. WARNING The Connector Bar components are stronger than the pushchair frame, care must be taken in operation to ensure that the weight from one pushchair does not transfer to the other pushchair and exceed its capacity. No liability is accepted for any consequent damage to a pushchair frame resulting from use of the Double Connectors. It is almost certain that any damage would not be covered by the manufacturer's product warranty.
